Red yeast rice is produced by fermenting Monascus purpureus with rice and has been used in traditional applications for centuries, including culinary uses for color and flavor. This product is carefully produced to avoid the presence of citrinin, an unwanted by‑product of the fermentation process. Each bottle contains 120 tablets, and natural color variation may occur.
